It's a new month and Xbox Live Gold members will once again have new free games to play with. As always, Microsoft offers two titles for Xbox One and another two for Xbox 360 -- all free of charge. Here are the four Xbox Live Games with Gold free games for October 2016.
For Xbox One, players will get to enjoy "Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings" as part of the Xbox Live Games with Gold lineup for October 2016. The 2015 game normally retails for $19.99 but for Xbox Live Gold members it's free starting from Oct. 1 to 31. The simulation baseball game offers different game modes including solo play, 2v1, 2v2 and teams against AI.
Another Xbox One Live Games with Gold free game for October 2016 is "The Escapists." The game normally sells for $19.99 but starting from Oct. 16 to Nov. 15, it will be free for all Live Gold members. The award-winning simulation game lets players experience what it's like to be in prison and how to escape from it. It doesn't matter if players will try to escape without getting caught or go crazy as a shooting maniac - the objective is to escape.
Meanwhile, "MX vs ATV Reflex" is one of the two Xbox Live Games with Gold free offers for October 2016 for Xbox 360. Players can start downloading the game until Oct. 15. Normal pricing for this title is $19.99. The game lets players step on the shoes of a daredevil motorbike rider. It's up to players to let the bikers do dangerous stunts. Also a free Xbox 360 title is "I Am Alive," which normally retails for $29.99. The game can be downloaded for free starting on Oct. 16 until Oct. 31. The game features a protagonist who struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.
There is still another game from the September 2016 lineup that players can download. "Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China" is still free until Oct. 15. It should also be noted that the Xbox Live Games with Gold October 2016 free games for Xbox 360 can be playable in Xbox One through the Backwards Compatibility feature of the console.
