‘Star Wars: Rogue One’ Spoilers, Cast, Release Date, News & Update: Meet Film’s New Characters; What Happens To R2-D2, C-3PO?

"Star Wars: Rogue One" fans are excited to know if there will be new characters in the standalone film aside from R2-D2 and C-3PO. Recently, fan bloggers have disclosed their discoveries of the Topps and standees and the images have been rocking the Internet.

A "Star Wars: Rogue One" character that looks like a baby Wampa stands at full life size and is named Moroff. Its body has a full coat of white long hair. It looks huggable except for the gatling gun it holds in his hands. In the movie, it might be a Gigoran mercenary that will auction his strength and firepower. Will it also award its loyalty to the highest bidder?

R2-D2 will have another play mate aside from C-3PO. "Star Wars: Rogue One" features R2-BHD, a new Astromech droit that looks like the former robot except that it is cloth in aluminium-looking suit.  The new character still has a top that is shaped like a dome, and a body like a trash bin. Similar to R2-D2, it has a radar eye, system vents and even a holographic projector.

Another "Star Wars: Rogue One" character is L-1 Droid. It looks like C-3PO minus the gold luster. Viewers have always been a fan of C-3PO as it looks friendly with a little dose of humor. This new L-1 Droid looks scary and a little bit less friendly because of its black head design that represents the top of a Stormtrooper.

In "Star Wars: Rogue One," some characters will work together to get the evil plans of Death Star which will be the key weapon of the Empire to cause destruction in the galaxy. The characters may be ordinary people, but in their quest, they themselves will be part of something great.
