Despite the surging demands for the sequel of “A Song of Ice and Fire,” namely “Winds of Winter,” the world renowned author of the “Game of Thrones,” George RR Martin remains mum on its probable release. Also, rumors of the successful author not prioritizing “Winds of Winter” has surfaced as well.

Given the colossal followers of George RR Martin's upcoming book, "Winds of Winter," many are presuming for an early release. However, it appears that having the sequel of "A Song of Ice and Fire," is easier said than done.

As for the rumors of "Winds of Winter" not prioritized by George RR Martin, that notion is debunked. GRMM has neither said nor affirmed that he is not prioritizing the sequel of "A Song of Ice and Fire," but his present ordeals is presumed to affect his overall plan and writing schedules.

In a former report from GamenGuide, it relayed of some claims that the sequel of "A Song of Ice and Fire," "Winds of Winter" would deviate from its main story branch. However, even that notion was unsettled and unverified. As noted by the same post, the fantasy novel would still incorporate stunning storyline for "Winds of Winter," but the changes would not be drastic at all. More report from NME mentioned that the delay is a probability.

According to the same report, the forthcoming book, "Winds of Winter,"will be the sixth and penultimate novel in the author's epic fantasy series, "A Song of Ice and Fire." The first one was HBO's successful series, "A Game Of Thrones."

It remains uncertain as to when and how the storyline would unfold for "Winds of Winter." with George RR Martin on board and holding his fantasy pen, many are expecting great things from the author that made "A Song of Ice and Fire" a remarkable novel of all time.
