"Criminal Minds" Season 12 has been intensely brewing for its big comeback. The CBS network has renewed the series for another instalment with 22 episodes last May 2016. However, this time around it will miss the real hot Thomas Gibson, the pillar of the series who's playing Aaron Hotchner.

The hit series "Criminal Minds" Season 12 had its debut in the fall of 2005. At that time, Thomas Gibson was taken in as one of the show's lead actor. The series' storyline revolves around, the lives and challenges of the FBI operative unit that investigates and track down fugitives.

"Criminal Minds" Season 12 has continued to win the hearts of the many critical fans, who loves Hotchner and the rest of the FBI crew. Every week, millions of viewers would stay tuned to the CBS  network to watch the unravelling of heinous crimes ever portrayed on television.

During the AccessLive interview in youtube, it was revealed that Gibson was fired from "Criminal Minds" Season 12. According to the Syracuse report, there was an argument of the storyline during the filming between Gibson and other members of the show. The actor was forced to leave the series because he kicked the writer and co-executive producer Virgil Williams on the set.

His two-week suspension from the show concluded on his final exit on "Criminal Minds" Season 12. While Gibson was out, the show runners brought in a new member of the cast, Adam Rodriguez.

On "Criminal Minds" Season 12, Rodriguez will portray the role of Luke Alvez who will play as a fugitive recovery specialist. The cliffhanger of the last season's finale showed 13 criminals who had broken out of prison. Alvez together with the FBI team had recovered five and will continue their search for the 8 who are still out there on the loose
