"Final Fantasy VII" is a far flung title that might even make it in time with PlayStation 5 but Square Enix offers kiddie-themed "World of Final Fantasy" in its lieu.

Exactly how kiddie "World of Final Fantasy" is? Very much like anime characters transformed into pocket-size cute creatures. Director Hiroki Chiba revealed that this children's version is not so dumb after all because it offers full turn-based RPG that adults can enjoy as well. Basically, "World of Final Fantasy" is reliant on same Active Time Battle that is signature of Final Fantasy franchise.

Gamers will love a twist present in "World of Final Fantasy" where the character can shift between sprite to full-size, Mobile & Apps reported. More like powering up the character to effect special abilities and attributes. Chiba admits that elements from current games were incorporated to add excitement. Think of the classic Super Mario who can grow by collecting mushrooms.

It can be argued that gamers get hooked in any title when chances of hoarding items, gears or even gems are present. Mobile game "Pokemon GO" stays on top because there are still monsters to be collected, right? "World of Final Fantasy" operates within the same premise where two main characters need to hoard items and companions through constant combat. However, Chiba clarified that unlike "Pokemon GO" this spinoff is not mobile game but a $60 title intended for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, Kotaku said.

Being a full game, expect a real storyline and proper gameplay. Chiba narrates that there are two protagonists who found "World of Final Fantasy" and they will cross path with all creatures and monsters. Gamers can conquer the game by collecting, befriending or annihilating monsters depending on occasions. Other main protagonists from Final Fantasy all throughout will be present and they will give mini-quests for added variation.

Convinced already? "World of Final Fantasy" invades on Oct 25 in North America and pegs at PlayStation 4 and Vita.
