NBA Trade Rumors 2016: Blake Griffin Traded to New York Knicks for Kristaps Porzingis; Another Clippers Superstar to Leave the Team?

This season's NBA trade rumors have just gotten interesting after several reports have surfaced suggesting the plan of the New York Knicks to trade its superstar Power Forward Kristaps Porzingis for Blake Griffin from the Los Angeles Clippers. The Knicks has already publicly expressed its intention to acquire the Clippers' Superstar this upcoming 2016-2017 NBA Season, which is scheduled to kick off on Oct. 25.

Blake Griffin has been a subject of numerous NBA trade rumors this offseason, which has captured the interest of many basketball fans. According to reports, the Clippers is not interest in trading the superstar as they are still hoping for their 'Big Three' to contend for the NBA Championship next season. However, experts are still not confident of the team beating the 2014-2015 NBA Champions, the Golden State Warriors, who recently added a new superstar in their roster, the 2013-2014 seasons MVP Kevin Durant.

The Clippers sill has Chris Paul and Blake Griffin, who along with center DeAndre Jordan are expected to bring the team to win its playoff battles next year. However, the two superstars Paul and Griffin are already on the last year of their contract, and the Clippers are expected to face the same dilemma the Oklahoma City Thunder were facing when two of their best players became free agents this offseason. It will be interesting once Paul and Griffin become a part of NBA trade rumors.

"The Celtics and us and Oklahoma [City], we all thought we were going to get Kevin Durant," Clippers' coach Doc Rivers said during a quick interview with the Boston Globe. "I don't have a problem with that, I really don't. I think the players have a right. They take the risk of being free agents."

Meanwhile, if Griffin decides to play with the Knicks, High Griffinition will be playing side by side Carmelo Anthony, who has yet to bring the New York team deep into the playoffs. Stay tuned for more news and updates about Blake Griffin NBA trade rumors.
