No Cross Play Between PlayStation And PC For 'Diablo 3'

Offline play? Sure. PC Cross play? Not so much.

After a barrage of fans asked whether or not "Diablo III" on consoles would feature cross play with the PC versions (a lot of people seem to want to be able to play their beefed up PC characters on their PlayStations), Blizzard forums community manager stepped in to clear up the issue.

Said Vaeflare: "While we think cross-platform play would be awesome, there are currently no plans to allow connectivity between PlayStation Network and Battle.net (this is pretty standard for most games that have PC and console support). As a result, the characters on your Battle.net account and PlayStation account will also remain separate. In terms of allowing an analog controller hookup for the PC, we don't have any plans for that kind of support right now."

As cool a feature as this would've been, I think we all knew the very thought of this would've been far too good to be true.

Also, as "Diablo III" for PS3 and 4 is getting an entirely different UI, "the PlayStation version of 'Diablo III' will not support USB mice or keyboards."

To all those with maxed out Barabraians and Monks, you'll have to leave them on the PC where they began.
