‘Civilization 6’ Release Date, Gameplay: 5 Victory Conditions in Civ 6, AI Opponents Agenda & City Planning

With the "Civilization 6" release date just less than two weeks away, the preparation stage for world dominations now starts for strategy gamers. Since Firaxis has showcased all of the civs as well as their leaders, it is time to examine the various ways how one can win the game as well as some important topics such as city planning and AI opponent agenda.

'Civilization 6' Gameplay - The 5 Victory Conditions In Civ 6

The first Civ 6 victory condition is called Score Victory and is based on the total score at the end of the game. If none of the civs managed to achieve the other types of victories, then the victor is the civ with the highest score at the end of a "Civilization 6" game, as reported in a Youtube video by GamerZakh.

One of the "Civilization 6 Victory conditions that players may want to strive for is the Science Victory. For this to be achieved, the player's civ must get three major milestones, These include launching a satellite, completing a manned lunar landing and establishing a colony in Mars.

With the arrival of "Civilization 6" release date, players may also try to win by Culture Victory, one of the Civ 6 victory conditions. It's all about tourism really. To achieve culture victory, players need to attract more tourists from other civs than their domestic tourist. This means that people from other civs prefer to spend their vacation at the player's empire rather than spending their free time at their home country.

The fourth "Civilization 6" victory condition is a preference for the militaristic type of players. Domination Victory is assured if one is able to conquer the capital cities of all rival civs in the game.

And finally, the fifth and newest type of victory introduced into the franchise is the Religious Victory. This type of victory is newly introduced into the upcoming "Civilization 6" game, replacing the Diplomatic Victory. To win, one's religion needs to become the predominant religion in all civs.

'Civilization 6' Gameplay - The Importance Of City Planning

With the introduction of new new concept of sprawling cities with the arrival of "Civilization 6" release date later this month, the foresight of city planning is more important than ever. Since improvements will no longer occupy a single tile or hex in the map like before, these improvements will now be competing with each other in the limited space.

Unfortunately, the best way to learn is probably by trial and error, according to PC Gamer. As they say, experience is the best teacher and that applies to city and empire building as well. In general terms though, one needs to maximize the bonuses afforded by the surrounding terrain and match them to the buildings and districts that one plans to put up in "Civilization 6."

'Civilization 6' Gameplay - Be Wary Of AI Agendas

AI opponents have quirks that makes them friendly or hostile. Depending on which leader one is dealing with at the moment, one can calculate what actions to take if one cannot afford to offend their sensibilities at such time. To keep tabs on everyone else, the best strategy is to establish diplomatic contacts with all civs one meets in the coming "Civilization 6" game.

"Civilization 6" release date is slated this coming October 21, 2016. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for updates.
