"Pokemon" video game players would be thrilled to know that Nintendo is releasing Mythical and Legendary Pokemon that they can get for free. The batch of freebies is arriving between Oct. 1 and Oct. 24 so players must always be on the lookout on these dates.
According to reports, the legendary Pokemon that are up for grabs include the mythical Keldeo and Volcanion. Keldeo is level 100 Pokemon so players will not afford to lose their chance to have it for free.
The "Pokemon" giveaway is actually an event planned by Nintendo as it celebrates the 20th anniversary of the favorite virtual monster game. It was said that aside from the two mentioned high profile Pokemon, nine more are set to be released for this month.
Keldeo
It is a dual form of Mythical Pokemon and categorized as Fighting/Water type. It does not evolve but it can transform into a second form called Resolute Form. Keldeo will change into this character once it learned about the Secret Sword move being taught by Cabalion, Terrakion and Virizion.
How to Get Keldeo
It is simple to get this legendary "Pokemon," all that players have to do is open their Pokemon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire. Then, from the menu, click the "Mystery Gift" and start the game.
Players must now approach and talk to any delivery woman in the Pokemon Centers. You will now receive a Wonder Card and allowed access to the list of Pokemon. In the Mystery Gift menu, choose "Receive Gift" in thee menu Keldeo will be sent to you.
Volcanion
Volcanion is a powerful legendary "Pokemon" that is also popular in "Pokemon Go." as its name suggests, it is a fire/ water mythical monster. This character is already at level 70 although it was only officially introduced in December 2015. Volcanion ejects internal steam from its back and arms, and its power is enough to demolish a mountain.
How to Acquire Volcanion
A player must have a code card obtained from the retail game store. Gamers in the United States can get the cards at GameStop while those in U.K can obtain them via GAME. For players in North America, NZ and Australia, EB Games will distribute the cards.
Keep in mind that the free Legendary "Pokemon" cards are only offered for the month of October. Incidentally, the release date for the Volcanion cards is on Oct. 10.
