Creator of "Teen Wolf" Season 5, Jeff Davis confirmed that Tyler Posey will not continue in the upcoming series and he'd like to see somebody else in the forefront. Davis says, there are more stories to tell and maybe Dylan Sprayberry may take over his role.
Fans could expect an entire change for "Teen Wolf" Season 7 and see Sprayberry taking the lead role. But, for now there us no plan for Season 7 yet as they were still busy filming season 5B as per Austrailia Network News. According to Davis, Season 5 beyond wasn't expected, but as the channel renewed the segment for Season 6, there is a big hope for Season 7 as well.
Meanwhile, Stiles and Lydia's romance are expected to bloom on "Teen Wolf" Season 6. The details alone are making the fans excited since they've been waiting for this a long while. As noted in the same report, their relationship is something to cherish, according to the creator Jeff Davis. However, he also hinted that their relationship will go through heartbreaks. Another hint from Davis is the possibility of someone dying again this coming season.

Speculations are saying Stiles Stilinski may not appear on "Teen Wolf" Season 6 which saddened a lot of fans. However, according to the latest conference for the fans at New York Comic-con, there are some confirmation that Dylan O'Brien would still be reprising his role as Stilinski on Season 6 even though he is still dealing with his injury from the accident.
