MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, News & Updates: October Launching Confirmed? Laptop to Run on Intel’s Latest Processor

It's not a secret that many people were disappointed when Apple decided to skip the highly anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 during the launching of the new iPhone 7 in September.

However, new reports are circulating that the Cupertino based company is getting ready to reveal the upcoming flagship laptop by the end of October. Although Apple has yet to provide the official details of its development and release, the new device has been a favorite subject of numerous rumors and speculations all over the Internet.

Tech fans and critics considered the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 as the most-awaited laptop this year as rumors suggest that the device will carry new features and several improvements from its predecessor. According to a report by BGR, the latest portable computer from Apple will sport an OLED panel that is meant to replace the traditional function keys right above the keyboard.  However, industry experts are having some doubt if the feature will ever fit in the new slim and lighter design of the new laptop.

In terms of its display feature, according to GameNGuide, the MacBook Pro 2016 might be the first laptop to support 5K display system, which is going to replace the ThunderBolt screen technology of the previous iteration. There are speculations suggesting that the South Korean tech giant LG might help Apple with its MacBook Pro 2016 development to improve the laptop's display feature. However, these reports have yet to be confirmed by Apple.

Meanwhile, some reports are already saying that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will run on the latest Intel Core M processor. There are also speculations that Apple might go with the Core i5 or the Core i7 CPU, which could certainly improve the laptop's power efficiency. Its improved specs and amazing features might also increase the price of the upcoming device, which is rumored to be at $1,099 for the 13-inch variant and $2,099 for the 15-inch model.
