Square Enix to Show 'Unannounced' Wii U Game at PAX East [RUMOR]

Square Enix will unveil a previously unnannounced Wii U game at PAX East in Boston later this month.

According to an invitation sent to Gamezone the Square Enix PAX East lineup includes a handful of high-profile 2013 projects, including "Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMIX" and "Heroes and Generals." The message apparently gave no indication of what to expect from the new title.

Hype for news out of PAX East is reaching new heights this year, with Capcom already declaring plans to unveil two new games at the convention, and Blizzard teasing plans to show "something different" at their panel.  As a consumer-facing show, PAX East has historically been light on news, but the show's rapid expansion had led to increased signifigance every year.

Square Enix currently has only one Wii U project, "Dragon Quest X," could be the game in question. The "Dragon Quest" MMO is coming to Japan on March 30, but has no North American release date. Beyond that, your guess is as good as mine.

What do you think Square Enix has in store for PAX East? Let us know in the comments.
