However, there's always a part of Stefan's character that is very evil. Whenever he chooses to shut down his humanity, he becomes the uncontrollable vampire with blood lust, and goes on killing everyone at his path. Even Damon, in his evil antagonistic self could not control Stefan. "Vampire Diaries" Season 8 will finally reveal the why Stefan became the ripper of Monterey.

Speculations arises on the possibility of Stefan and Caroline to finally be together in marriage. TV Line reports of Stefan finally moving on with Caroline, despite the chaos that is present in Mystic Falls. Their relationship will definitely be tested, but the couple will try to overcome this in "Vampire Diaries" Season 8.
