NBA Trade Rumors: Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks Swap Michael Carter-Williams & Tony Snell For New Season!

Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks are bound to swap their players Michael Carter-Williams and Tony Snell. Rumors said that the deal is almost complete for the 2016-17 NBA season.

Michael Carter-Williams is a former NBA Rookie of the Year, and the Bulls have reportedly been eyeing him since. The Bucks, in turn, will get Tony Snell, the shooting guard and small forward of the Bulls.

According to the source of ESPN, Michael Carter-Williams was told that he is being traded to the Bulls as early as Saturday night. After Khris Middleton's torn hamstring injury, the Bucks have been looking for shooters and perimeter guards. The Milwaukee believed that they have found in Tony Snell what they have been looking for. Snell has 35 percent shots from long distance in the previous season with an average of 12.5 points.

Michael Carter-Williams and Tony Snell are both first-round picks in 2013, but the former has lost his Milwaukee spot even before undergoing a hip surgery in March. Reports said that the 6-foot-6-inch guard has disrupted the team's chemistry even as early as February 2015. Some believe that Snell has been struggling to play with Chicago stars like Jimmy Butler, Doug McDermott and Dwayne Wade.

Jason Kidd, Milwaukee Bucks coach, still believes that Michael Carter-Williams is a great player. Kidd considers him as one of the better defenders in the NBA league. As a team guy, his mind is focused on winning. But with the acquisition of Giannis Antentokounmpo and Matthew Dellavedova, the team seems to have lost interest in Carter-Williams. Previously, the Bucks have also acquired Michael Beasly from the Houston Rockets.

Last Saturday night, the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks met in a preseason game. However, neither Michael Carter-Williams nor Tony Snell was present in their respective teams.
