Huawei Honor 8 has been launched in China a few months ago. Following this is also the formal launch of the much anticipated smartphone in India. According to reports, the Indian release is a major deal for Huawei Technologies, considering that the country takes a significant share on sales percentage globally.
The Indian release of Huawei Honor 8 appears to be very timely, since the new phone has been reported to be a tough competition to other new smartphones like OnePlus 3. In fact, Lenovo's Z2 has been known to be Honor 8's rival in terms of the optic features. However, reports indicate that the new Huawei smartphone reigns supreme.
Huawei Honor 8 comes with a dual-camera feature partnered with a dual 12MP rear camera - one gives support to the monochrome sensor, while the other is a color sensor that provides a more detailed photo. In addition, the cameras sport laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, an f,2.2 aperture and also boasts of an 8MP on its front camera.
The new Huawei Honor 8 is reportedly encased in a 5.2-inch full HD display, a 1,080 x 1,920 low-temperature polycrystalline silicon LCD resolution with 423ppi. The smartphone runs a 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 950 with a 4GB RAM, along with 32GB native storage. It also comes with a microSD card support which can house up to 128GB.
Huawei Honor 8 is priced at $450 in India, according to a report. Meanwhile, Huawei Mate 9 huge leak has reportedly surfaced, indicating that the new phablet will sport two different designs. One design will have a dual-curved display, while the other opts for a flat screen. However, the leak images only reveal the front of Mate 9.
Huawei Mate 9 codenamed Manhattan is reported to be released worldwide, while the Long Island prototype is likely to be available only in China.
