HP Releases Convertible Tablet-Laptop With 4K Display And Face Recognition

One of the specs of the latest release is a tablet-laptop convertible. The laptop is designed in such a way that it would catch attention because it is thin and slender. It is also an all-in-one model and has a 4k display which is made to suit dual screen setups.

With the release of this product, HP had raised the bar in design, quality and performance that is according to Patrick Moorhead, principal analyst at Moor Insights and Strategy. The technology that HP develops and the design that it implements targets the premium end of the tech market as stated in Technewsworld. Moorhead also said that the target markets for HP's products are those users and customers who are very particular about the design and performance and usually these people are willing to pay for it.

The convertible laptop that HP offers is the Spectre x360. It is 2 millimeters thinner than the previous models HP has released. Not to mention, it is 3 pounds lesser. It also has a 13.3 inch FHD IPS display and has four speakers installed. And it is offered in either i5 or i7 Intel Core processor which makes the laptop performs faster.

The specs added to this latest model are the log-in via face recognition and the battery life can last up to 15 hours. Not only that, the battery can be charged 90% in just 90 minutes via the quick-charge function and this model is already available in the market. So far, the new model is considered as one of the longest lasting machines ever tested according to Techradar.

Another laptop that HP offers is the Envy, which has a more battery life than the previous models. It can run up to 14 hours, but the laptop is 14 millimeters thick and weighs 3.15 pounds. It has a 13.3 inch display that has a touchpad option and has a wide glass touchpad. The Envy will be available this October 26.

The Envy AIO 27 has a 27 inch QHD 3.6 million-pixel display at 15 millimeters. This HP's all-in-one laptop is thin because all the computing and the storage power are contained in the monitor's base. It supports a "low blue light" that would provide eye comfort to its users. It has a sound bar with four speakers. The specs also include a webcam that displays when not in use and is available in sixth generation Intel quad core i5 or i7 processors. With these products released in the market, HP most probably could do something with the decline of PC shipments in the United States.
