Keeping 2016 in mind, the Apple iPhone 7, HTC 10 and the Google Pixel phones are undoubtedly at the top of the chart with all three boasting of some pretty impressive specs. Therefore, it will be interesting to have an overview of the three phones that will help one decide which one is the best buy.
The Apple iPhone 7 has the best design and a sleep look. The HTC 10 denser, wider and taller than the Google Pixel phones. As per Gadgets 360, HTC 10 tops the screen size with a 5.2-inch display, followed by Google Pixel's 5-inch display and iPhone 7's 4.7-inch display.
When it comes to processors, it's the battle between Apple's A10 Fusion processor and the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. HTC 10 sport a Snapdragon 820 chipset, the Google Pixel a Snapdragon 821 chipset and the iPhone 7 an A10 Fusion processor.
In terms of CPU speed, the Apple iPhone 7 performs better than the other two with the second place going to Google Pixel. The HTC 10 runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, Google Pixel on the must-talked-about Android 7.0 Nougat OS and the Apple iPhone 7 on iOS 10.0.1, upgradable to iOS 10.0.2.
The HTC 10 and Google Pixel have twice the RAM capacity as iPhone 7. The former two has 4GB RAM whereas the Apple flagship comes with 2GB of RAM.
However, when it comes to camera specs, Google Pixel emerges the winner with 12.3MP primary and 8MP secondary camera compared to the 12 Ultrapixel and 5MP cameras of HTC 10 and 12MP and 7MP cameras of iPhone 7, writes GSMArena.
HTC 10 has the highest battery capacity of 3,000 mAh followed by Google Pixel phone's 2,770 mAh battery and iPhone 7's 1,960 mAh battery. All three have non-removable Li-Ion batteries.
These are some of the comparable specs of the HTC 10, Apple iPhone 7 and Google Pixel. In terms of features, Apple and Google Pixel are hand-in-hand.
