It was in 1988 when the killer Good Guy doll first scared us and now, he's back! After almost three decades, "your friend 'till the end" will hit the big screen again with "Chucky 7." Your-not-so-favorite toy returns with the original Child Play writer Don Mancini teased the upcoming movie's pre-production on his Twitter page.
"STORYBOARDING #Chucky7. Glen doubling Chucky. @angelnorelation doubling... ?" Don Mancini shared. The 53-year-old producer posted a photo teaser of "Chucky 7" giving a glimpse of Chucky's son, Glen, from the 2004 film "Seed of Chucky." Will Glen continue the killings did by his father?

Movie Pilot reported that Fiona Dourif will be back in "Chucky 7." To recall, he played as Brad's daughter, Nica, in the 2013 film "Curse of Chucky." There are also swirling rumors that Jennifer Tilly will also be heard again as the voice of Tiffany. However, nothing is confirmed yet, like how Don Mancini puts it, the film is still in storyboarding.
Moreover, Bloody Disgusting noted that there has no announcement made yet about "Chucky 7" filming. Universal Studios, too, hasn't revealed if the movie will push through. In other news, it has been known that the iconic killer doll, Chucky, has been voiced by Brad Dourif.
In fact, Brad Dourif already gives Chucky a piece of him with his voice that marks in the minds of the many. Who could forget the word, "Hi! I'm Chucky, wanna play?" Little did the 66-year-old actor know that his voice will give birth to a legendary horror toy murderer in Hollywood's film history. Even though there is no news if he will be Chucky's voice again in "Chucky 7."
In spite of this, "Chucky 7" IMDb page already has the film's storyline. "Chucky returns after the events of Curse of Chucky to continue terrorizing his wheelchair-prone human victim, Nica," the synopsis reads. "Meanwhile, the killer doll has some scores to settle with his old enemies, with the help of his former wife."
