'Guardians of the Galaxy 2' News & Updates: New Teaser Trailer and Poster Leak, Features The Entire Group!

It's safe to say that a lot of Marvel and superhero movie fans are waiting for "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." The first "Guardians of the Galaxy" was a roaring success, especially for a bunch of characters most of the more mainstream comic book audience wasn't aware of. It made a breakthrough leading man out of Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord, and put together a well-oiled gang of unlikely heroes.

The internet just got a dose of the first "Guardians of the Galaxy 2" teaser poster. GamesRadar has it here, via "Guardians of the Galaxy" Director James Gunn's Twitter account. For those who haven't opened the link yet, it's a black-and-white photo of Nebula, Rocket, Yondu, Gamora, Peter/Star-Lord, and Drax. Not to be left out is Groot in his baby form, just like the way we last saw him from the first movie after sacrificing himself.

The interesting additions to this particular group photo are Yondu and Nebula. Yondu managed to patch things up with Star-Lord by the end of the movie, Nebula didn't quite ally with the team. It looks like both characters are going to play particular heroic roles in "Guardians of the Galaxy 2." Nebula also gets a slightly new look for the movie.

"Guardians of the Galaxy 2" is coming sooner than you might realize, as you might have forgotten that it'll be almost three years since the first movie. It's opening in the U.K. on April 28, 2017, and in the U.S. cinemas a week later on May 5. The movie is directed by James Gunn, and the entire main cast is coming back for this one. Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Kurt Russell, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel playing Groot, who we don't know how it's gonna work considering he's in baby form, will be seen once again.
