'Hunter x Hunter' Chapter 361 Latest News & Update: Togashi's Anime Cancelled?

Rumors that the "Hunter x Hunter" episode 361 has been cancelled have been circulating online lately after its creator, Yoshihiro Togashi has fallen ill.

To catch up with the episodes, Togashi reportedly hired some writers to continue writing the project with him as the consultant. But the writers' output did not satisfy Togashi, pushing him to put the project on hold, according to some reports.

This has caused rumors to further circulate that Togashi's standards are too high that no one from his commissioned writers has ever met his criteria. Togashi has a reputation as a writer who usually goes on a hiatus after writing a new episode for the highly anticipated manga. But it seemed this time that
"Hunter x Hunter" fans will have to fait a few more months.

The completion of the "Hunter x Hunter" episode 361 has reached a long period of stoppage after Togashi went on a hiatus since first quarter this year. His hiatus was even extended further by his worsening back pain.

This, according to the Christian Daily, it has caused delay to the production of the third chapter of the "Hunter x Hunter" TV series. In fact, it was rumored that producers at the Viz Media, were up set by the long set back and are thinking of ditching the project.

Fortunately, despite the delay on the release of the chapter 361, there have been enough materials for the "Hunter x Hunter" Season 3 TV series to air.  Despite of the availability of the materials for the season 3, directors believe that the hiatus of the manga will imperil the making of the series' season three.

In another report from the Asia Starz, it was revealed that Togashi's wife, Naoko Takeuchi, will carry on his legacy in the successful manga-turned anime, "Hunter x Hunter," but that remains to be seen as well.
