SpaceX Falcon 9 News & Update: SpaceX Founder Musk Denied Sabotage Theory; Facebook CEO Zuckerberg Devastated

Ever since the tragic explosion of Falcon 9 in September 1, speculations on the possible sabotage have greatly affected the Aerospace company. SpaceX founder and CEO Elon Musk had released a statement denying this atrocious act.

The Falcon 9 exploded during its scheduled test at 9:07am, and that the explosion did not result to public injury, Fox News reports. Although no one was harmed during the accident, Falcon 9 had also damaged the Amos-6, an Israeli satellite built by the Israeli Aerospace Industries.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg was disappointed upon hearing the destruction of Amos-6 as he will use the satellite to bring the internet into the developing countries. Zuckerberg who is now in Africa aired out his disappointment on the Amos-6's wreckage.

CEO Musk explains that the explosion was due to the formation of solid oxygen in one of the helium bottles located at the upper portion of the rocket's stage tanks. Other reports claimed that the explosion was due to a strut failure.

Speculations about the strut failure have surfaced due to a previous explosion of Falcon 9 just after it was launched, as conveyed by The Space Reporter. The incident which happened back in June 2015 has garnered different opinions on the company's ability to mitigate such problems.

However, SpaceX assured the public that this explosion is not a problem with strut failure. Investigation of the recent explosion has confirmed that problem in the struts was not the cause. SpaceX assures for further investigation on the tragic incident.

It is undeniable that SpaceX has baffled the tech world with its latest achievements and its innovations, and now that the hurdles are blocking its path, many are wondering on how SpaceX would overcome the challenges and soar above the level of mediocrity.
