'Vikings' Season 5 Predictions SPOILERS: Will Ivar The Boneless Step Back For Older Brother Ubbe To Rule Kattegat?

It's beginning to look like the fifth season of "Vikings" will focus on Ragnar Lothbrok's sons, who are set to do more pillaging in the History series. But which of Ragnar's sons will eventually rule Kattegat when the king is dead?

There have been speculations that Ivar the Boneless will be the next King of Kattegat in "Vikings" Season 5. But is it possible that the new ruler will be Ragnar's second eldest son (and first child with Aslaug) Ubbe?

Ivar The Boneless Actor Alex Hogh Andersen Teases Ubbe's Rise To Power In 'Vikings' Season 5?

Alex Hogh Andersen has been keeping fans updated on what happens on the set of "Vikings" Season 5. GamenGuide has previously reported about the young actor sharing that he has already filmed a scene as Ivar the Boneless with Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Andersen's most recent Instagram posts seem to focus more on his awesome photography. One notable photo shows Jordan Smith as Ivar's older brother Ubbe with an interesting caption.

New Photo Confirms Ubbe, Not Ivar The Boneless Becomes King Of Kattegat In 'Vikings' Season 5?

Of course, Ubbe is not the only prince in Kattegat, but he also happens to be the most likely candidate to rule after Ragnar Lothbrok dies. After all, Ragnar's eldest son Bjorn has his eyes set on conquering the Mediterranean while Hvitserk, Sigurd and Ivar the Boneless appear to be more interested in raiding England. Although Ubbe does join his brothers when the Great Heathen Army attacks the English, there is a huge possibility he will end up becoming the new King of Kattegat in "Vikings" Season 5.

Do you think Ivar the Boneless will step back and let Ubbe rule Kattegat in "Vikings" Season 5? Let us know in the comments below.
