Rumored OLED Toolbar for MacBook Pro 2016 Confirmed?

With reports of the new line of MacBook Pro 2016 sporting a new OLED touch bar that would replace physical function keys spreading for months now. Apple has been so tight lipped about the reported new gem for the MacBook Pro 2016.

However, it seems a tiny crease in the mighty armor of Apple has been found and we might just know what's the name of the new OLED toolbar on the MacBook Pro 2016. "Magic Toolbar," trademark agent Brian Conroy posted an article in regards to his findings for the new MacBook Pro 2016.

In his report, he stated that a company named Presto App America LLC has registered rights for the name Magic Toolbar since February. Interestingly enough, it is also on the computer hardware category just as where you'd expect it will be for the MacBook Pro 2016.

This was also covered by 9to5mac for the MacBook Pro 2016 and all signs lead that this theory or rumor is right. As observed on several Apple products bearing the word "Magic" such as Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad. It will surely make sense to also name their newest tech milestone for the MacBook Pro 2016 as the Magic Toolbar.

MacBook Pro 2016 Says Goodbye to the Standard USB Port

Apple has been known to fearless in taking out pieces of hardware off of a prominent device for the sake of improvement. With the iPhone 7 losing the headphone jack, the MacBook Pro 2016 is also reported to lose the standard USB-A port and will replaced with new USB Type-C one's.

USB Type-C seems to be where the tech world is headed to right now and with the MacBook taking the first step, this could be an expected change for the MacBook Pro 2016. As reported by the The Telegraph, "According to Macotakara, a Japanese website with a strong track record on Apple products, the new MacBook Pro will feature two ports - USB-C and Apple's own Thunderbolt port."
