"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3 Episode 5, "It's About Frank," saw the titular Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber) making contact with someone from the Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) camp: Bonnie (Liza Weil). Frank had killed her father in last week's episode, "Don't Tell Annalise," and ended up in bed together, talking about "cute babies" and their hopes for the future.
But their rekindled relationship puts Bonnie at odds with Laurel (Karla Souza), who is also in love with Frank. Their one-night stand further fanned the flames that Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) could be Laurel's baby daddy--and the person beneath the sheet by the end of "How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3.
What went down
Following her father's death in "How to Get Away With Murder" Season 3 Episode 4, "Don't Tell Annalise," HTGAWM Season 3 Episode 5, "It's About Frank" saw Bonnie hooking up with the troubled Frank, who had killed her abusive father for her. It's also revealed that Frank had been in jail since he was thirteen because he attempted to kill his own father. He was sprung from jail by Sam Keating (Tom Verica) and Annalise Keating.
In an interview with Variety, Charlie Weber, who plays Frank in "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3, said Frank meant every word he said to Bonnie when they were together, and hated that he had to leave her in the morning. He saw himself with Bonnie, who's the only one in HTGAWM as damaged as he is. He also talked about how Laurel and Wes had realigned their relationships, and wanted to see where that went.
Is Wes' Laurel's baby daddy?
As to "realigned relationships," Bonnie's one night stand with Frank in "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 3 further strengthened fan theories that Laurel is pregnant with Wes. If the two are together, it's also possible that Wes could be the body found in Annalise's burning house, where Laurel was found unconscious. HTGAWM are aware that although Annalise definitely loved Wes more than anyone else in the Keating 5, but he knows too much about Annalise to be safe from harm.
