All the rumors related to the highly anticipated release of the next generation Xbox 720 just took a brand new turn with a new revelation on the Internet.
An entirely new Xbox 720 logo making the rounds on Twitter is causing major buzz.
The image contains the words, "Introducing a new way to play."
While we're still waiting for Microsoft to announce its next-generation Xbox, rumors suggest the company had a secret meeting earlier this month to discuss the upcoming launch, and the new image could be a product of that meeting.
The image from Bob Exo is believed to have been taken at Microsoft’s internal Xbox event. The image is on a Twitter account with only four posts so buckets of salt are encouraged.
“While this could be another Photoshop attempt by individuals with nothing better to do, it has to be said that the theme does look convincing and fits in line with Microsoft’s Metro theme for the Windows 8 user interface,” Product Reviews writes.
“It is widely thought that Windows 8 will be integrated into the next Xbox console, although we do have to admit that the logo will need to grow on us over time.”
Current speculation says Microsoft will match Sony's PS4 release this holiday season.
