It looks like the two Benedicts of "Doctor Strange" will be crossing over to more Marvel Cinematic Universe flicks. "Marco Polo" Season 3 star Benedict Wong has just confirmed that his character Wong will be back in the third "Avengers" film.

"I'm thrilled I'm going to be in 'Infinity War'," Wong admitted to ComicBook, adding that he is "looking forward to" being in the MCU movie. However, the news also had fans worried that this would mean Benedict Wong's appearance in "Marco Polo" Season 3 will be lessened.

Kublai Khan Reduced To Minor Character In 'Marco Polo' Season 3 Due To Benedict Wong's 'Avengers: Infinity War' Schedule?

GamenGuide has previously reported on Benedict Wong's schedule possibly being the reason why "Marco Polo" Season 3 is being delayed. After all, the series is filmed for almost a year in several locations and would require Wong's absolute commitment.

However, it is possible that Kublai Khan will end up becoming a recurring character in the show so "Marco Polo" Season 3 could proceed with production. Hopefully, the series will return on Netflix by early 2018.
