'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Episode 1 News & Update: Abraham Leaves Secret Message Before Death?

Fans are still trying to recover from the brutal double kill of Negan in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 1. Heartbroken and shocked, fans may have missed out victim #1 Abraham's secret message.

Fans were both sad and proud for Abraham in "The Walking Dead" Season 7 Episode 1 before he faced his demise. Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) was revealed to be the unfortunate victim of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) after playing the villain's dangerous version of "eenie meenie miney moe.

In a typical Abraham manner, he took his fate courageously. The red-head fan's favorite looked Negan straight in the eye and maintained his straight posture as the TV's most-hated villain gave his little speech.

After demanding the rest of the captives to not make a move, Negan unmercifully hit Abraham hard in the head with his wired bat named, Lucille. Not willing to give Negan the satisfaction, Abraham gathered what's left of his strength to say his last three words.

As when fans thought that Abraham may survive Negan's wrath, the Savior's leader hit him in the head the second time, the third time, and more until there's nothing left to Abraham's head. Fans understandably were shocked to see Abe's brutal death, and they're probably busy picking up their jaws and wiping out their tears that they have missed Abraham's last secret message.

After realizing his unfortunate fate, Abraham made a last attempt to send a message to Sasha, and possibly to all "The Walking Dead" fans as well. Abraham made a heartbreaking farewell peace sign before he was killed off.

"The peace sign was something that ran with Abraham and Sasha throughout the whole series," Michael Cudlitz told Entertainment Weekly. "It was this sort of unspoken, this very loaded peace sign.
