‘Pokemon GO’ Latest News & Update: Christmas Event Planned Next? Christmas Themed Generation 2 & Legendary Birds Zapdos, Articuno & Moltres Debut?

In the midst of "Pokemon GO's" Halloween event and being the first of its kind in "Pokemon GO's" history. A lot of people has been curious of what could be Niantic's plans for the upcoming "Pokemon GO" holiday season.

We have found some interesting facts about the Pokemon Anime series that could be applied in "Pokemon GO" this coming December. What we have found out sure is interesting.

'Pokemon GO' Holiday Hi-Jynx

Way back in December 11, 1999 a special Christmas episode for "Pokemon" aired in the United States. It's titled as Holiday Hi-Jynx and from the title obviously it featured Jynx as the main Pokemon.

However, Jynx is not the only new Pokemon which has made its debut on the said episode but also Lapras, being the one to take Ash and friends over to Santa's workshop. Also on the later part of the episode, Rapidash is spotted to be the one pulling the sleigh for Santa to deliver gifts. As reported by Pokemon GO Hub, "The episode is heavily influenced by presents, with Jessie wanting to kidnap Santa after a Jynx took her Christmas present as a child. The episode ends fortunate for both for Team Rocket and our heroes."

A theory or prediction of how a "Pokemon GO" Christmas event should be is and increased spawn rate for Ice type Pokemon such as Lapras, Seel, Dewgong, Shellder, Cloyster and of course Jynx. Another predicted Pokemon to have an increased spawn rate will be Ponyta and Rapidash.

The "Pokemon GO" Christmas event would last from December 11th until the 25th and is predicted to also have new bonus prize items such as Santa hats and probably "Pokemon GO" Christmas presents.
