‘Mortal Kombat X’ DLC Release Date, News & Update: Kombat Pack 3 Confirmed By NetherRealm Studios? New Playable Characters, Weapons, Challenges Revealed!
"Mortal Kombat X" is one of the most played fighting video games at present time. The game is playable via Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A lot of fans have been very eager to know if the developers are now working on its third expansion. Fans also want additional characters and gameplay improvements.
The first "Mortal Kombat" game was launched on 1992 and it was also one of the most played Arcade games in its time. The game was originally developed by Midway Games' Chicago Studio. After being reported that the original developers have been bankrupt, Warner Bros acquired its development team and turned it into NetherRealm Studios. So, what are the things fans should expect in "Mortal Kombat X" game?
Now, the "Mortal Kombat X" is being played by millions of players all over the world. There has been two Kombat Packs that were already launched and each Kombat Pack contains four new additional characters. Players are anticipating that, when the Kombat Pack 3 will be launched, it will have new playable characters in the game such as Rain, Fujin and Baraka. There are also rumors that Smoke, Jade, Sindel, Li Mei and Noob Saibot will be making their debut in the game.
Until now, NetherRealm Studios has not released any official announcements about the "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 3. There are reports saying that the developer is still focusing on its other game called "Injustice 2." The sequel of "Injustice" is said one of the main reasons why the third expansion is being delayed.
Ed Boon made a Twitter poll last May asking what's next: "Kombat Pack 3," "MK11," or "Shaolin Monk" sequel. As expected, majority of the votes go to Kombat Pack 3. This hinted fans that the developers are still not sure what game will they work on after the "Injustice 2." However, several rumors suggest that the "Mortal Kombat X" Kombat Pack 3 will be available on June 2017.
