"Suits" season 6 has been a rather pivotal arc for the cast members' lives both on screen and off screen. The show, which centered on the repercussions of the revelation of the secret Mike (Patrick J. Adams) has been keeping for "Suits" season 6, surprised many when the summer finale divulged that Jessica (Gina Torres) will be leaving Pearson Specter Litt for a life away from the corporate jungle of New York.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Torres did not rule out the possibility of coming back to episodes beyond "Suits" Season 6. But with TV Line reporting that "Suits" season 6 will directly be followed by a seventh season next year and with rumors that star Gabriel Macht will be leaving at the end of "Suits" Season 6, reports have spread that the USA Network has re-started negotiations with Gina Torres on her involvement in the future season.
While Torres has already signed on to appear in "The Catch" Season 2, the cable channel is said to be hopeful to negotiate at least a six-episode recurring cast commitment for Torres in both "Suits" Season 6 and 7. It will just be to negate a possible ratings free fall should reports of Gabriel Macht's departure from the show come true.
