Killer Clown Purge 2016 UK Will Subject Clowns to Criminal Record if Caught

This year before Halloween, UK authorities are keeping an eye for people that may adapt the crazy clown craze- wherein people are dressing up as clowns to give everyone a fright. Authorities are expecting that the phenomena will likely increase as Halloween draws near.  They are working to prevent the situation brought about by the Killer Clown Purge scare.

The Killer Clown Purge trend blew up as the number of incidents involving individuals who suit up as clowns and go out to scare people increased. Some clowns reportedly attack innocent bypassers. The scare is taking what is supposed to be an innocent and fun annual tradition by turning it into a true form of terror.

This so called Killer Clown Purge is getting into the nerves of the UK officials. A 13 year-old-boy reportedly attacked another teen while wearing a clown mask. On another report of a clown sighting, a man who was walking home was grabbed by an assailant in a clown costume.

In addition, sources indicate that the reason why the Killer Clown Purge is being watched by authorities is due to the rising violence associated with it, In North Yorkshire, a 26 year old man was stabbed by a gang wearing mask. In another incident in Suffolk, there were two girls confronted by a man in a clown disguise while carrying a knife. In London, a woman was chased to the streets by a clown carrying a machete. UK officials issued a warning to the residents to keep a close eye on such incidents as they fear a Snowball effect on the matter.

Authorities were quoted by the media saying that they will not tolerate such behavior and offenders that are out to cause distress and harm will be dealt with. Offenders during this Killer Clown Purge will be going in jail for 6 months. Minor offenders will be fined for public offense charges.  This so called Killer Clown phenomenon was popularized by horror films in particular, by Stephen King's It novel.
