"American Crime Story" Season 3 Air Date, News & Update: Gianni Versace Mystery Murder On FX, Lady Gaga To Play Donatella Versace?

"American Crime Story" Season 3 will be coming back on the FX network to feature the mystery murder of the famous designer Gianni Versace. Eyed to play the role of Donatella Versace, the designer's sister is the famous singer, Lady Gaga.

A report from Deadline has revealed that the "American Crime Story" Season 3 will examine in detail Versace's murder case. The suspected killer was Andrew Cunanan, who had committed suicide in his Miami houseboat eight days after the murder when surrounded by the Miami Dade Police.

The "American Crime Story" Season 3 is in the stage of recruiting the casts of the series, Entertainment Weekly  reported. Returning Directors of the reality crime drama series are Emmy award-winners Nicole Daniels and Courtney Bright. The producers of the series are in the process of firming up the cast.

At the same time, "American Crime Story" Season 3 boast of its award - winning production team, namely Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson and Brad Falchuk. The crime story will kick off with the murder - mystery by Cunanan, viewed from a different perspective.

The "American Crime Story" Season 3 will start putting into the screen the 1997 murder mystery. This is 19 years after Versace was killed in his Miami Beach mansion. The crew had started the filming of the Versace case in April of this year.

There are questions as to the reason behind the murder of Versace. Hopefully, answers to the questions will surface as the "American Crime Story" Season 3 will unfold on the small screen. It was reported that Cunanan had murdered four other victims before the Versace murder.

"American Crime Story" Season 3 is expected to be aired in 2017 after the Katrina episode.
