'Clash Royale' News & Update: Here's What's Known About The November Update So Far—Four New Cards & More!

Supercell's "Clash Royale" had its monthly update patch yesterday, bringing a lot of new cards and some much-needed balance changes to the mobile game. There are at least four new cards debuting in the new update.

For all the new "Clash Royale" cards, the new Super Tornado spell is set to arrive on November 11. It's the first official reveal by Supercell on their "Clash Royale" blog, and the spell is an area of effect, damage-over-time that sucks in enemy units toward it. The epic-rarity spell costs three elixir points.

There are more new cards will be coming to "Clash Royale" over the next two weeks of November. One new rumored card is the Electric Wizard, leaked over the weekend and reported by the "Clash Royale" Reddit account. It seems to be a high-damage dealer and stunner and reportedly costs four elixirs to cast. Another rumored card is a Duplication Spell that creates clones of your troops that deal the same damage but don't have the same HP. The last rumored new card coming this month is the Mega Barbarian— a card that spawns two really strong barbarian units that spell trouble for your opponent.

Meanwhile, balance changes for "Clash Royale" include fixes for the Ice Spirit, Ice Golem, Rage, Lumberjack and Inferno Tower cards. Ice Spirit's freeze is shortened to 1.5 seconds from 2 seconds, while Ice Golem's damage dealt upon its death has been boosted by 74 percent. For Rage and Lumberjack, Supercell is increasing their effect boosts by 35 percent from the original 30. Meanwhile, Inferno Tower gets a little weaker, by six percent to be exact, in order to have it be soft enough to see a little less play.

"Clash Royale" will also have a new in-game event this month called the King's Cup. It's basically a limited time challenge with special rules and the first King's Cup event you join will be free. Beyond that, you'll have to pay up the next time you want to join King's Cup.
