12 Monkeys" Season 3 is now on the go for its most awaited return on the SyFy network next year in 2017. The series will take the viewers to a mystery trip of the main character Cole to the future, year 2163.
It was reported by Entertainment Weekly that the "12 Monkeys" Season 3's trailer showed the unravelling of James Cole (Aaron Stanford) and Cassandra "Cassie" Railly's (Amanda Schull) unborn child as the "Witness". With this painful discovery, life would never be same again for the two.
Taking off from the last season's finale, "12 Monkeys" Season 3 will portray Cassie's kidnapping by the 12 monkeys. She will find herself transported to the very far future. Terry Matalas who is the Executive Producer of the show revealed that season 3 will be full of time traveling back and forth for the couple.

The story arc of "12 Monkeys" Season 3 will revolve around the lives of Cole and Cassie. The sci-fi drama dives into the mystery of time travel as Cole went back to the present in 2043 to save humans of against a deadly virus. Cassie is a virologist who will help Cole in his mission.

According to TVLine, "12 Monkeys" Season 3 will be a season of heavy and painful experience for Cole and Cassie. The series, which will be composed of 10 episodes, is patterned after the 1995 movie of Bruce Willis.
"12 Monkeys" Season 3 will unfold on its premiere in 2017 at the Syfy network. However, there is no final date yet that has been revealed for the big comeback.
