'Clash Royale' Latest News & Update: Special Event Challenges Release Date; See A Preview Of King's Cup Match

"Clash Royale" is set to launch the King's Cup special event challenge. Players will find new cards, blind decks and game adjustments whenever they battle.

The official Clash Royale website stated that the King's Cup will be the first special event challenge. It is a limited time challenge with special rules, and players can join for free, beginning Nov. 4, 2016. Players will enter each battle with a fresh deck. A livestream will also be available to cover the King's Cup tournament on November 6.

Clash Royale Arena stated that the initial entry in the "Clash Royale" King's Cup is free, but all subsequent entries after finishing the first challenge will cost 5 gems each. The rules are generally the same as in regular challenges. Three losses will have players dropped.

Card levels are capped at Tournament Standard, but King's Cup will bring all cards to the Tournament Standard, so players should expect some level adjustments in their cards. There will be four new cards in "Clash Royale."

One new card will reportedly be released every two weeks Tornado will be available on November 11. Supercell also creates the fresh decks for "Clash Royale" players whenever they enter each battle. During a Friendly Battle, the cards of both players will be leveled up or down, according to the tournament rules, to ensure that battles are played evenly.

Other "Clash Royale" improvements include three new achievements to unlock, requesting cards from Clan having been lowered from every eight to seven hours, and Clan Trophy requirements capable of being set to 4000. Muting the emotes of opponents will fully mute them with the new adjustment.

"Clash Royale" game balances have also been introduced. The Elixir bar of opponents stays hidden when spectating a friend. Several cards have also been re-balanced.

Also, the "Clash Royale" King's Cup Challenge will have players using a blind deck every time, with six defined and two random cards. Players can find cards that they do not own, which adds to the fun and excitement. More updates and details on the "Clash Royale" King's Cup Challenge are expected soon.
