Fox has officially announced the premiere dates of its winter lineup that include the much-awaited "Bones" Season 12. Along with the release date, the stars coming in the final chapter are also revealed.
Stephen Fry To Return In 'Bones' Season 12 As Dr. Gordon Wyatt!
According to TVLine, Stephen Fry is set to be back in "Bones" Season 12 to reprise his role as Dr. Gordon Wyatt. The appearance of the 59-year-old English comedian in the final bow of the favorite TV drama has been revealed by a tweet of David Boreanaz.
"Thank you @stephenfry for the love and humor. You are the smartest man around! Well, we all know it's the accent real," the "Angel star tweeted. Evidently, Stephen Fry was on the set of "Bones" Season 12 and filming with other stars.
The "QI" host will be seen in "Bones" Season 12 Episode 9. To recall, Stephen Fry was first seen as the cool psychiatrist in the show's second season. However, he got tired of counseling people and chose to push his passion for cooking. He was last seen in the fifth installment.
Betty White To Reprise Her Role As Dr. Beth Mayer In 'Bones' Season 12
Aside from Stephen Fry, Betty White will also be seen in "Bones" Season 12 reprising her role as Dr. Beth Mayer. The "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" veteran actress was last season in the 10th episode of the previous chapter, Deadline reported.
Betty White's character in "Bones" Season 12 is known as the successful doctor with invaluable knowledge in forensic anthropologist. Despite her age, she has half a century of experience and expertise that she could be very proud of. She's smart, sharp, gorgeous and fabulous as ever, just like in real life.
Other Stars Returning In 'Bones' Season 12
As "Bones" Season 12 will be the final chapter of the crime procedural drama, its past actors are about to return to bid their final goodbye. Eddie McClintock will be back as Brennan's (Emily Deschanel) former boyfriend, Sully.
Also, Ed Asner along with Hal Holbrook will grace "Bones" Season 12 Episode 3 as the wise guy and a Marine veteran. "Bones" Season 12, called "Bones: The Final Chapter," will return on Jan. 3 at 9:00 p.m. on Fox.
