Ian Somerhalder is soon to be the next Christian Grey in the popular and controversial "Fifty Shades Freed" movie. The "Vampire Diaries" actor is said to replace Jamie Dornan as he wants to revive his career, and accepting the role would put him back in the spotlight.
The Fifty Shades Darker production team is now looking for someone who would resemble the character of Christian Grey, and everyone knows that the "Vampire Diaries" actor has the charisma. Looking back at Ian's previous scenes in the "Vampire Diaries", he was very comfortable with doing bed scenes, and he can certainly adjust to this new role.
Gamenguide previously reported that Ian's career has been slowly collapsing, and is regretting his marriage with the Twilight Actress, Nikki Reed. Furthermore, the said actor is losing endorsements and projects after he married Reed.

Rumors are now circling online that Ian was offered the role of Christian Grey as the replacement of Jamie Dornan. Reports have claimed that Jamie's relationship with his wife is on the verge of failing, forcing the star to leave the cast.

While Ian is using the offer as an opportunity to bring back his lost career, Nikki deeply regrets marrying Ian and is now ready to for split. There are even speculations telling that Ian prioritizes his career more than his marriage with Nikki, since she was not even his first choice.
