The last season of "Sister Wives" revealed the marital affair of Meri to someone she met online. Reports have claimed that Meri's affair had greatly affected the whole family, especially Kody. It is in this sense, that the patriarch embarks on a mission to make his family whole again.

However, Kody in an interview divulged that he will work on making his family again, especially restoring his relationship with Meri. Insiders also reported that Kody is confident that he can really bring back Meri into loving him, and continue being one of the "Sister Wives".

Still, in "Sister Wives" Season 8, Kody may have a hard time fulfilling his mission because Meri has already decided to finally move out. Reports also claimed that since Meri is now single, she has all the right to date someone. Currently, Meri is reported to have found her happiness in someone else.
