‘Friday The 13th: The Game’ Release Date, News & Update: Game’s Menu Leaked, What Is The Real Reason For The Delay?

"Friday The 13th: The Game" won't be released this year as previously set out, which made a lot of fans disappointed. However, the delay made fans believe that the game will be made even better than initially expected. To satisfy their curiosity, fans have been scouring the net for possible leaks of the game and it seems that they just found the splash menu.

'Friday the 13th: The Game' Release Date Delayed

Fans have been avidly waiting for the release date of "Friday the 13th: The Game"  and to learn that it will be further pushed to summer of 2017 is devastating. However, fans are expecting bigger things out of the survival horror adventure game.

GameNGuide previously speculated that the delay may be caused by the various efforts of game publisher Gun Media and game developer IllFonic to make it better. Gun Media announced the delay earlier last month but promised to deliver a better "Friday the 13th: The Game" gameplay experience to its fans.

"Friday the 13th: The Game" will reportedly include a single-player option with another playable character (Tommy Jarvis) and map (Packanack Lodge). Aside from the additional features, the game is promised to be more bloody and horrific, per Engadget. The characters will reportedly have added killing skills for a more violent experience.

Fans are always on the lookout for possible leaks of "Friday the 13th: The Game" and Geeks of Doom recently spotted a the splash menu may look like. A video allegedly shows a few different views of Jason Voorhees along accompanied by a fittingly creepy music. (click the link on Geeks of Doom to preview menu)

"Friday the 13th: The Game" is expected to arrive summer of 2017. However, Gun Media hinted that it could be earlier. The developers assured fans that they will be giving fans beta versions to give them a feel of the game.
