This decision came about after the company received numerous reports that the GoPro Karma drone has a tendency to crash since it shuts down midflight. The announcement was made just recently while majority of the people were glued to the elections.
GoPro is still not sure how big of a hit this is to their production especially since the holiday season is already upon us.
