Fans are now excited to see the comeback of the historically based TV series, "Reign" featuring the return of Mary to Scotland. Although season 3 removed several main casts, reports are leaking that an original cast is coming back.
According to reports, key star Adelaide Kane has recently announced that an old friend will be returning to once again help Mary. According to Gamenguide, "Reign" Season 4 will reveal Elizabeth as the greatest threat to Mary's life, because the Queen of England would do everything to protect her crown. This puts Mary into a critical situation because she is surrounded by people who conspire for her downfall.
The rivalry between Elizabeth and Mary had just started in season 3. Insiders reported that in "Reign" Season 4, Elizabeth is seen to connive with Lord Darnley to assassinate Mary, and end her rule. Darnley's greed for power is more important than her marriage to Mary.

However, a trusted friend of Mary comes to her rescue as always. It is reported this friend may be Bash or even Francis who was thought to have died in her arms. In "Reign" season 3, Bash leaves Mary to live as a druid, but makes one final promise, "I will come to you when you need me the most. Of this, I am sure," TV Line reports.

Although there is a possibility that these reports holds true, Adelaide Kane together with the production team are yet to comment. Fans will have to wait next year to see the unfolding of Mary's fight for the throne.
