CW Crossovers: ‘Supergirl', 'Arrow', 'Flash', 'Legends Of Tomorrow' DC Crossover Airdate, News and Update; DC Is Ready To Cross Borders

CW crossovers from various shows have always been a norm for the network. This coming December, fans will be treated with mutliple crossovers from various DC TV series in the CW network.

"Supergirl" have moved from CBS to its new home in CW on its second season. "Supergirl" airs on Mondays, "The Flash" on Tuesdays, "Arrow" on Wednesdays, and "Legends Of Tomorrow" on Thursdays. Fans have a CW superhero series everyday to help them get through Friday. "Supergirl" move from CBS to the CW network. This decision definitely gave fans more reasons to look forward for more CW crossovers.

CW crossovers have been played out in various series within the network. The character of Barry Allen or The Flash, played by Grant Gustin, was introduced in another CW series, "Arrow." Barry sped up his presence on "Arrow's" season 2 episode 8, "The Scientist;" which was the very first DC Crossover in CW.

On the pilot season of "The Flash", Barry calls Oliver for some advice. The first DC crossover paved the way for the world of DC to collide in every way. Barry's meeting with Oliver was just the start of numerous CW crossovers between the two shows.

For the past two years, CW crossovers has just been between the "The Flash" and "Arrow." Until this year, the two series did a DC crossover with "Legends Of Tomorrow" on its pilot episode.

DC crossovers happened even between two different TV networks. "The Flash" did a DC crossover with "Supergirl" while it was still on CBS. The episode was titled "World's Finest," where Barry accidentally travelled from Earth-1 to Earth-S meeting Kara aka Supergirl. He helped her defeat the villains, Silver Banshee and Livewire. Now that "Supergirl" and "The Flash" are on the same network, fans can expect more CW crossovers and interactions between the two series

Now that Kara Danvers or Supergirl is joining the rest of the DC family in CW network, viewers should brace themselves for one of the biggest CW crossovers that is yet to happen. Fans couldn't be happier for a DC reunion. But what are these heroes teaming up for?

Earlier this year, "Arrow's" executive producer Marc Guggenheim hinted that a powerful threat will force Supergirl to team up with Flash, Arrow and the Legends. The CW crossovers will take place due to the possibility of the heroes traveling between parallel universe. This could prove how great is the threat of the new villains will bring to the table.

Recently, CW revealed that the DC crossover was made to face an alien race called Dominion. Individually known as Dominators, the alien race first appeared in DC's "Adventure Comics" in 1967. The Dominators eventually became prominent in the 1988 miniseries entitled "Invasion." The CW crossovers will be digging into the history of these Dominators.

The CW crossovers of DC superheroes will air this December. According to the producers, the crossovers will be a four-part installment.
