Apple iPhone 8 vs iPhone 7: Apple to Skip the iPhone 7s? Specs, Features and Price Compared

The iPhone 7 has just been released but many Apple fans are already anticipating the next smartphone offering of the company. Next year will be another exciting year for Apple as it is believed to skip releasing the iPhone 7s and proceed with the iPhone 8.

With the rumored release of the iPhone 8 next year, many iPhone users are now curious on how it will be compared to the recently released Apple phone. Here is a comparison of the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 8:

Design and display

Unlike the traditional design of the Apple phone which was still used in the iPhone 7, the iPhone 8 is believed to be released without the home button. This is primarily because the phone could come with a thinner design.

Though the next iPhone is expected to have a similar screen size than the iPhone 7, fans are hoping that the iPhone 8 could come with an OLED display. When released last September, the iPhone only had an IPS LCD display.

Camera

Because of the positive reviews on the dual-camera of the iPhone 7 Plus, it is anticipated that the iPhone 8 variants will all have dual cameras which are equipped with lens almost the same as DSLR cameras. Improving on this camera technology will set Apple aside from other smartphones and will be a welcome addition to many photography enthusiasts.

RAM and processor

An A10 processor and 2GB of RAM came with the iPhone 7. Next year, the iPhone 8 could have a more powerful chipset, the A11 processor, and a higher RAM. Apple will surely promise a more useful and faster smartphone in the iPhone 8.

There is still no confirmation from Apple that it will indeed release the iPhone 8 next year but fans are hoping for a better and well developed smartphone. Are you excited for the next Apple offering?
