‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ Release Date, News & Update: Storyline Different From Previous Games? New Exciting Multiplayer Mode, Game Plot Revealed! Gameplay Details

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is BioWare's most highly anticipated game to arrive next year. Several fans call it as "Mass Effect 4." BioWare officially announced that the game will be released sometime in spring 2017. 

BioWare teased their fans again by releasing "Mass Effect: Andromeda" official cinematic reveal trailer at the previously held N7 Day. The developer also announced the game's new features and some of its storyline.

"Mass Effect: Andromeda" main character will be called Ryder, as stated by EuroGamer. Players can choose to play either male or female character. The male and female characters are actually siblings. Both of the male and female options will exist simultaneously in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and the two will interact soon. Players will also meet Alec Ryder soon, their father.

Player's chosen main character will have a journey from a regular colonist to a hero, BioWare stated that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" new plot is opposite to the story of Shepard who began "Mass Effect 1" as a hero already and ascended from there to Space Jesus. "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is set in  the future, hundreds of years after "Mass Effect 3" and in a different galaxy. So, there will be no direct continuation of Shepard's story.

Avid fans and supporters of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" can join the N7 Andromeda Initiative. Players will play as new recruits and become one of the first to receive information updates about "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and choose good offers from Electronic Arts.

The N7 Initiative program prepares the player for what is coming on "Mass Effect: Andromeda." Selected players will have training the will give them information on the new vehicles and some of the new game mechanics of "Mass Effect: Andromeda." The participants can also end up winning a real N7 Helmet.

According to a report from Gaming Bolt, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is probably the most ambitious game of BioWare. The developer is also adding a new epic multiplayer mode for the game. Report says that there will also be new missions every player will face. Active Strike Team missions will also introduce multiplayer areas to players that sound familiar to ME3's N7 objectives.
