Apple may have released a couple of iPad Pros already but the word out is that there is more to come in 2017. Three iPad Pros will allegedly be released with the 10.9-inch variant the odd addition from Apple.

The Cupertino company did reveal the 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch variants recently but it seems these are only teasers for bigger things to come. Curious on the next batch will be a 10.9-inch variant, something that will reportedly do away with the borders surrounding the screen which brings to mind a potential edge-to-edge display variant, Mac Rumors reported.

Aside from that, what makes the 10.9-inch iPad Pro variant such a big thing to look forward to in 2017? Further to the report, it is believed that to make the edge-to-edge design work, the home button may eventually be removed.

Following the variants for the iPad Pro 2017, the 10.9-inch could very well be the recommended buy for tablet owners. The 9.7-inch variant will be the low-cost option, likely the one replacing the iPad Mini which is not expected to get a big refresh anytime soon, Slash Gear reported.

For some folks, word of a 10.9-inch iPad Pro may not ring a bell. Previous rumors cite that Apple is working on a 10-inch tablet though there was no clear reference if this is the same 10-inch or 10.1-inch variant expected to come out in 2017.

The top of the line in the mix will be the 12.9-inch iPad Pro, something that will reportedly sport a True Tone display. This will likely include four-channel ambient light sensors that would allow it to easily adapt to the color and intensity renders that would blend in well with the environment it eventually finds itself in.

Other noted features, for now, include quad microphones, the retention of the 3.5 mm headphone jacks and possibly a 12 MP iSight main camera with True Tone flash. Stay tuned for more updates on the iPad Pro 2017!
