WWE 2016 Latest News & Rumors: Roman Reigns’ Cool Off Period Over? Ready For New Crack At Main Event? Details Here! [POLL]

Roman Reigns has quietly been moving into the Universal title picture with the eventual storyline likely unraveling at WWE Survivor Series. While it will be a five-man team setto, the belief is that Reigns will eventually crash the “KO” party.

He remains the United States champion, feuding with Rusev in what most believe could be better. It has been a recurring storyline on WWE with most hoping to see something more dramatic than a nightly bashing between the two behemoths.

Unfortunately, the WWE seems to be willing to take the risk and book the “Big Dog” back in the main ranks despite the persistent mix of boos and cheers, ProWrestling.net reported. Looking ahead, it does seem like Reigns will eventually challenge Owens for the title.

Rollins may be hot on Owen’s trail but an appearance by Triple H will instantly change the WWE road map. How about Chris Jericho? It is believed that Y2J will eventually break ties with Owens though no title change is expected. This is seen more as a send-off for Jericho who will attend to his band Fozzy.

Once the Jericho storyline ends, Reigns is expected to step up to the plate. This will likely happen during one Raw show after a pay-per-view. Depending on the schedules, it may not be surprising to find Reigns as champion by the time Wrestlemania 33 comes around.

If so, it could be the perfect scenario for a Finn Balor return. Take note that it was Balor who eliminated Reigns from the Universal title picture so it seems only fitting to see them clash for the most coveted prize on Raw, FanSided reported.

Bumping up Reigns will be a risk of fans sounding off like crazy. But as can be seen, it is obvious that Reigns is still the guy the WWE wants to push. Should Reigns get a title opportunity so soon? Sound off below!
