Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Release Date, Latest News & Update: Going All In For 2017! Specs, Features & New Safer Design Revealed!

Renowned tipster Evan Blass has leaked model numbers for Samsung's forthcoming flagship for 2017. Blass also claimed that this smartphone is underdeveloped. Samsung is still reeling with the fiasco it faced with the launch of Galaxy Note 7. Nonetheless, Samsung, in an upgraded program targeting the South Korean users, has confirmed that it will work on Galaxy Note 8, reported The Indian Express.

Apparently, Samsung is not disappointed with the latest disastrous explosions. The Galaxy S7 range's model numbers are SM-G930 and SM-G935, while Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge have model numbers SM-G950 and SM-G955. Logically Samsung Galaxy 8 should have the model number G-940, as Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge had model numbers SM-G920 and SM-G925. But, Samsung is skipping numbers, as Koreans consider number 4 as unlucky, as per Value Walk.

Korean media is suggesting that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would have a 6.2-inch screen size and a bezel-less design which will give it a 90% screen-to-body ratio. Interestingly, it has been speculated that Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would incorporate artificial intelligence functionality. Subsequently, this will be converted into a future Android operating system release, which will help users in activating commands via voice activation.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could have a 4k resolution which would be the first time in the history of the smartphone. The Galaxy Note 8 will also have the provision of removing the battery for more flexible use. The camera will also be upgraded and reports are hinting that it might have a 30-megapixel snapper.

It is almost confirmed that there will be a dual-camera setup, perhaps for both front and rear facing lenses. Earlier, there were reports that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S8 in April and not introduce it in the annual Mobile World Congress which will be held in Barcelona.
