‘Total War: Warhammer’ DLC Release Date, News & Update: Legendary Lords, Bretonnia Faction Race Discussed; Linux Version on November 22! Gameplay Details
If reports are to be believed, Bretonnia Faction and three Legendary Lords are coming to "Total War: Warhammer" in 2017. Creative Assembly will be including all these in the upcoming free DLC.
The fully-playable Bretonnia Faction race and the Legendary Lords are great news for "Total War: Warhammer" gamers. In the current installation, the Bretonnia faction is only accessible in Battle mode and for trade utilities only. The upcoming DLC will make this available in the Conquest mode too, writes PCGamesN.
In "Total War: Warhammer," the two main human countries are the Empire and Bretonnia. The latter is known for its various classes and finest knights. The Knight Errants are the glory seekers while the Questing Knights live like hermits and search for the Grail. The Battle Pilgrims are common men who fight in war using their holy relics.
The first sequel of "Total War: Warhammer" will be a trilogy with different titles. The first sequel is out and the remaining two games would feature separate battles, maps and storylines.
It has also been reported that "Total War: Warhammer" will have an Old World Edition set for a 2017 release. However, fans are eagerly waiting for the Christmas DLC that is expected to feature a Wood Elf theme. Creative Assembly is yet to confirm the details.
The Legendary Lords expected in the "Total War: Warhammer" DLC would be Fay Enchantress, Alberic of Bordeleaux and King Louen Leoncouer. The first is the Sorceress-in-chief, the second one is a Grail seeker and the last one loves riding a hippogryph.
As per a press release by Gamasutra, the Total War: Warhammer" will be released for Linux on Nov. 22. The game is a turn-based campaign of dexterous empire-building and incredible real-time battles. Players strive to conquer all at the head of one of four mythic Races.
