In the last few episodes, the characters are seemingly able to leave the Roanoke Island, following the death of Audrey. The viewers will be witnessing Lee going to a trial, a result of her confession about murdering her ex-husband.

The "American Horror Story: Roanoke" trailer also made an unexpected revelation. Lee was sitting down in an interview with Lana Winters, the victimized journalist in the "American Horror Story: Asylum."
