"The Crown" Season 2 Air Date, Spoilers & Update: Claire Foy's Season's Of Transformations, Suez Crisis' Britain's Turning Point, John Lithgow Exits

"The Crown" Season 2 will unfold in the small screen with the Suez Crisis at the center of Britain's turning point in history. After Suez, England will change forever. The showrunner Peter Morgan revealed that the Suez crisis will usher in Season 2.

"The Crown" Season 2 will proceed after the first season's premiere on Netflix with 10 episodes. All these episodes were written by Peter Morgan himself and he is now working and writing  the next season.

"The Crown" Season 2 will be a  collaboration of  four different directors who will try to bring in an almost realistic story of  the transformation of Elizabeth Windsor (Claire Foy). According to Gamenguide, the queen's transformation  will be divided into 3 seasons. One cut for being the young queen, another time divide as the middle-aged queen and the last season of being the aged-old queen.

A flashback on "The Crown" Season 2  portrays the story arc revolving around the young queen standing at the edge of a marriage that is almost falling apart. While she tries to navigate her way into the complexities of being the sovereign ruler of England, she loses her identity in the process.

Filming for "The Crown" Season 2 has started and there are many questions on how the show will progress. The showrunner is quick to answer an interview with Hollywoodreporter  that the series will try to put into the screen the struggles and fear of England's powerful woman who does not have power at all.

"The Crown" Season 2 will also bring on screen John Lithgow who will play the role of Winston Churchill.  However, just like Claire Foy, Lithgow will have his departure after season 2.
